Your Puppy's First visit to Your Vet
Stated on the Health Guarantee and Contract Page that has been read and confirmed understood,  A "General Wellness Exam" needs to be preformed by your Vet within three days of you receiving your Puppy.  Being as we fly our Puppies on Wednesdays, You would have Wed, Thurs, Friday and Sat. to have this done.  In the event that an appointment cannot be made until the following Monday let us know that via phone call or e-mail.

The Full Medical Record sent with Puppy must be presented to your Vet.  thus they will see what Puppy has been given and will schedule your Puppy's next vac's and wormings.

Also e-mail or call us with the report from the Vet after having this exam done.

Your Puppy has completed our Full Medical Record which is standard procedure and has proven successful over the years to us.  Below is the continued schedule of needed medications up to the age of 16 weeks.  This continued schedule of Vacinations must be followed also.  Parker Kennel is standing behind our Puppies and want the best for them, this schedule is what we would do after the age of eight weeks.

Our Main concern is in the Vac's and type, and also when the treatment for heartworms
is started.  These are very serious to us and the health of your Puppy.

Next Vac. 5 Way/Parvo/Distemper/etc to be at 12 weeks of age (or Min. one week after receiving Puppy)
Next Vac. 5 Way/Parvo/Distemper/etc to be at 16 weeks of age (or Min. one week after receiving Puppy)

We do not Vac. for Leptospirosis (LEPTO).  If recommended do so at a later age
as the vac. can and has caused adverse effects in younger puppies.

We do not Vac. for Bortorella (Kennel Cough)  A certain percentage of puppies will
have a reaction to this vaccine.  Our superior sanitation and ventilation methods prevent
  the need for this.

The yearly countdown for the Vac. 5 way starts at the 16th week.

Rabies Vac not to be done until 16 weeks of age

Heartworm tablets not to be started until 12 weeks of age

Standard Wormers/Albon treatments, schedule recommended by your Vet upon the General Wellness exam are accepted by Parker Kennel.  Your Puppy will not be released from us unless it has had a negative fecal test.  Even though the test is negative Puppy still can be retaining worms or larvae.  Your Vet will assign you a worming schedule if necessary. If any condition/issue if found with your Puppy upon this visit, and additional medication is to be given, We must de notified before its done or all warranty becomes void. Call me, I have my cell on me at all times.  Remember your first Vet visit is a General Wellness Exam.

Upon receiving your Puppy, in between these times, a full week must lapse, before any  Vac is given, unless we are contacted.  I have my Cell 479-209-0431 on me at all times.
I can be reached!

A Vac. can do very little good, if given directly after Puppy has had its maiden Plane Ride,
and has not fully transitioned into its new family.

We are not in any way trying to undermine what is recommended by your Vet that you have.  We do see it best for this stated time period, to pass before Puppy is to receive additional vacinations.
